The Aluminum metals have excellent EMI shielding abilities and are generally used to develop the exterior layer of an airplane. Because of their vast size, high cost, and vulnerability to environmental deterioration, numerous modern technological equipment considers them an unwanted alternative. The Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) materials are the best substitute for the aluminum.

I am Dr. Srinu Budumuru, working on several materials with high shielding effectiveness and mechanical qualities. My major focus is on reducing the weight of the shield while keeping good reflecting and absorption capabilities while preserving robust physical features. My research interests include EMI/EMC and antennas.
