The authors' clear and comprehensive writing style is supported by learning objectives, chapter introductions, and end of chapter summaries, questions and web links, making the text user friendly and aiding understanding.

Including new material on environmental crime and re-vamped sectoral coverage of the main areas of pollution control and nature conservation, the book adopts a thematic approach to put the law in its policy context. Subjects will be cross-referenced throughout, allowing readers to follow key ideas through the book and to understand the interaction of law and the environment.
