This is Stacey's debut children's book. Stacey received her undergraduate degree in Sociology. After working as a paralegal and contemplating law school, Stacey realized that her heart was in the human services field. She returned to school, obtaining her MSW in 2012, and worked as a dialysis unit social worker for 2 years before learning about her daughter, Skyler's, health issues. Since then, her degree has been helpful in navigating a medically complex life. Re-learning about the world through the lens of a parent and via Skyler's experiences as a child with multiple disabilities has reignited Stacey's inner advocate and inspired her writing. She endeavors to put good out into the universe, give back, find joy and gratitude - "rainbow moments" - wherever possible in order to ride out the difficult "raindrop moments".Tracey is a graphic designer by trade, but she brings the same enthusiasm, expertise and creativity to this, her first gig as an illustrator. Tracey and Stacey also happen to be cousins! For more about Tracey and her talents visit joyagestudio.com.
