Opportunity analysis use of autologous blood products (ABP) in peacetime and wartime. In peacetime, all AT strategies are applicable: planned preoperative collection autologous blood (PPK-AB) and / or blood components; acute normovolemic chemodilution (ANH); intraoperative autologous blood rescue (IABR); rescue postoperative shedding blood; autologous platelet administration; application of autologous fibrin glue (AFG) and autologous tissue adhesives (ATA); collection and storage of autologous red blood cells and autologous fresh plasma. The most applicable strategies for emergencies and war are: ANH, intraoperative rescue of AT, rescue of postoperatively shed blood and application of AFG and ATA. In peacetime, PPK-AB was used in 314 adult patients planned for elective surgery.
