RELACI�NATE is a new, innovative Spanish program ideal for advanced language students. RELACI�NATE teaches "real" language use, including informal / colloquial expressions, from a variety of Spanish-speaking countries. Stasie Harrington (Ph.D. in Spanish Applied Linguistics, The Pennsylvania State University) teaches undergraduate language and linguistics courses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison along with coordinating Spanish 226, a multiple section, fifth semester intermediate grammar and composition course. Prior to joining the faculty at UW-Madison, she worked for six years as a language director and English instructor in Madrid, Spain and was an Assistant Professor of Spanish at the College at Brockport SUNY. Specializing in foreign language pedagogy and second language acquisition (SLA), Dr. Harrington has published articles and presented papers and workshops in the areas of SLA (L2 Reading & L2 Phonology), teacher education (foreign methods students' beliefs & language portfolios) and instructional technologies in language education (videos & podcasting), and she is actively involved in pedagogical materials development. She created video activities for Tu dir�s (3rd and 4th Editions), Temas: Spanish for the Global Community (2nd Edition), Dimelo tu! (5th Edition) and online web exploration activities and autopruebas for De paseo: Curso intermedio de espanol (3rd Edition). In addition, she was a contributing author to the fourth edition of the Spanish textbook Tu dir�s! and co-author of the Activities Manual.
