Autorenporträt
Stephanie Van Horn was born in a New Jersey farm community, home to her family for many generations. In 1959 she, her younger brother, and her parents relocated to Southern California. She graduated with a degree in English from UCLA and has graduate degrees in English and education. Oregon has been her home since 1983. She taught for thirty-three years in various settings, with the last fifteen years spent as a professor of English at Southwestern Oregon Community College. After retirement and a move to Portland, she has been songwriting and performing and is currently completing a novel.
