A fifty something father, husband, coach who likes to enjoy life as well as think about it. So interspersed with poems that contemplate life there are those that speak of emotions, delve into fantastic stories or simply discuss, If Ducks had Elbows.

Autorenporträt
Stephen Buttigieg likes to call himself a "born again poet". He used to write poems prolifically till the age of 21 then stopped after a traumatic experience - he lost one of his poems. Over thirty years later he started dabbling in poetry writing again. Then he was forced into lockdown together with the rest of the world and found he had more time to dedicate to writing.Steve, as he prefers to be called, was born in the UK, has lived on the tiny island of Malta and currently resides in Belgium. In the ten years prior to leaving Malta he wrote "Take it to the Hole!" a popular semi-humorous weekly basketball column for the Time of Malta. He is a qualified basketball coach and has coached internationally. In his poetry Steve questions humanity, highlights social issues and ponders the effect we are having on our planet. However interspersed with poems that contemplate life there are those that speak of emotions, delve into fantastic stories or simply discuss, "If Ducks had Elbows".
