The theories of contextualization discussed include translation theory, hermeneutical theory, incarnation theory, and C5 contextualization. These theories may be viewed in a continuum with translation at one end, and C5 contextualization at the other end.

Stephen Sesi earned his PhD Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is Co-Author of African Missiology by UZIMA Press, Nairobi Kenya.Stephen is married to Josephine and they have three sons. They live in Nairobi Kenya.
