Autorenporträt
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Steve Gehrmann began his career after college as a radio announcer and advertising account executive. He helped area merchants with advertising that helped increase their sales and bottom lines. Along with his advertising duties, he also was the voice of local sports and host of a radio show for a couple of years, discussing everything for listeners, including politics, sports, and local events. After being in radio for almost ten years, he moved into a career as a certified credit counselor, helping clients reorganize their debts to afford their monthly obligations and get a better handle on their financial futures. He then took on the challenge of working at a mortgage company as a loan counselor and loss mitigation specialist, assisting homeowners who had fallen behind on mortgage payments. Currently, he helps customers live out their dreams with loans to improve their lives and financial situations. His entire career has been devoted to helping people achieve better lives, and now with his book, The Happy Zone, he has the hope to help as many others as possible to live a happy life. When at work, he can always be seen with his "happy socks" on - literally - and trying his best to make it 75 and sunny for everybody around him. He is a devoted husband and father. He also enjoys running with his neighbors, playing poker with his poker club, working out, and watching his favorite sports teams.
