Steve Guilfoos worked for over 38 years in the United States Air Force. He was the Air Force's Program Manager for the Small Business Innovation Research Program during his last ten years. At the time of his retirement, this four hundred million dollar a year federal program provided an avenue for small businesses to develop new technologies to meet the needs of our nation. During his retirement, he is an avid poetry writer, golfer, photographer, and world traveler. He spends time as a volunteer in the surgery recovery department of a major hospital. He continues to enjoy his favorite authors, Cussler, Baldacci, Rollins, Berry, and Connelly.
