Steven D. Harrison was born in Fresno. He grew up making frequent visits to the Sierra Nevada. While at college, he began working in Yosemite National Park. That sparked an interest in the history of Yosemite, which in turn led to collecting books, ephemera, and postcards. Michael J. Semas is a resident of Hanford, California, and has previously written the Postcard History Series book Kings County and coauthored Fresno. He has been collecting postcards of central California for over 15 years and is currently working on other book projects.
