The present study is an effort to understand the pattern of use of EIS by the Fisheries academic community. This book has six chapters. It also covers the establishment of Fisheries education in India and investigates the use of EIS by the academic community.The book also discusses about the need for Fisheries information system and proposes a model for Indian Fisheries Information System.
