INNER LIGHT - Mantra Meditation We are going through some of the most harrowing years of our lives. First a face-off with a deadly virus - and then, a war. The world has long been slammed shut on our faces. Countries have got decimated. Economies have tanked. People have died, lost everything, and become homeless in this mother of all challenges. Survivors are struggling with serious mental health issues.Like countless other people, I too had initially despaired over coping with this radically changed reality and then turned inwards in search of sustenance. I found it in Mantra Meditation - mindful chanting of select Mantras to enable and deepen meditation.What is a Mantra? ( Pronounced as Mun tra or Man tra)'Man' translates as 'mind' and 'tra' as a tool or an aid for the mind to achieve whatever it is that it wants to achieve - in this case, some measure of inner peace and tranquility. Mantras transform lives. However, there are countless Mantras. Where would you start and how do they work?It is quite an exact science. With understanding and correct utterance, the sound vibrations activate a chain of bio-chemical reactions that heals the inflammation in our system caused by stress, eating disorders, and broken immunity systems. T H E R E S U LT: The clinical benefits were obvious: A gradual sense of calm; reduced Stress, depression, andhypertension; lower blood pressure; improved metabolism, digestion, and memory functions. I HAVE CREATED A COLLECTION OF NINETEEN MOST SIMPLE AND PROVEN MANTRAS THAT HAVE HEALED PEOPLE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS - IT IS CALLED "INNER LIGHT". At the end of each session, remember to smile and repeat to yourself: I am okay. I am not afraid. I have survived every downturn;I will survive again.
