The book on "Economics of Farm Management: Women's Role" is divided into Five chapters. The first chapter consists of Introduction to the history of farm management, review regarding the role of women in farming activities. Further, the objective of the study and the methodology has been presented. In chapter-II, it has been presented the brief profile of the study area i.e. the characteristics of the three selected districts. Chapter-III presents two sections, in section-I, focuses on the theories of decision-making and the role of women in farm as well as household activities and analyses based on five-point assessment scale. Section-II deals with the socio-economic particulars of the selected sample households in the study area. Chapter-IV laid emphasis on the factors influencing the decision-making of women in farm management,for which, Ordered Probit Econometric Model has been used for achieving the main objective of the study. Finally Chapter-V provides summary, conclusionsand policy implications for increasing the active role in farm management.
