The study of the question of the origin of human language, or glottogenesis, is like a detective: too many versions and evidence-evidence have to be collected bit by bit. Moreover, these grains are from different sciences: anthropology, neurophysiology, ethology, archeology, genetics and, of course, linguistics. In the book "The Origin of Language: Facts, Research, Hypotheses", linguist, Doctor of Philology Svetlana Burlak collected data from all these sciences, spoke about them in simple words and put forward her hypothesis of the origin of the language. This is the second revised edition of the book. 10 years have passed since the release of the first edition. During this time, dozens of discoveries have been made in glottogenesis, and the question of the origin of language has become one of the most fashionable areas of science. The new edition takes into account the latest scientific data, a new chapter has appeared, and the remaining chapters have been significantly expanded.
