The title of this book viz., "Study on Barriers to Agile Project Management in Construction" talks about tackling the present day challenges of construction industry with an insight into Agile Project Management(APM) technique. The Manifesto for Agile Software Development, also known as the Agile Manifesto, was first proclaimed in 2001, after "agile methodology" was originally introduced in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Upon its inclusion, software industries have slowly moved from the traditional and static project management styles towards more dynamic methods to confront the complexities of big projects and thereby handle the unpredictable nature of the business thoroughly and were rewarded in excess. Due to its huge success, upon research it was concluded that APM although has loopholes when introduced in the construction sector which is a relatively conservative business, has potential merits which outrun its drawbacks in the long run. I believe that this book would give researchers insight into APM in Construction and thereby help them bridge the gap in knowledge which will pave way for further Research & Development and open new way of construction project management.
