This active principle provide basic raw material for their medicinal uses and other molecular studies. This plant is the rich source of polysaccharides,phenolic compounds and other secondary metabolites which on one hand are the potential source for drugs but furthermore they make RNA isolation for molecular studies a tedious job. Here we provided detailed studies of different modified RNA isolation methods to obtain high quality RNA from sea buckthorn plant. This good quality RNA can be used in RT-PCR analysis. These studies helped us to isolate micro-nutrient genes from this plant. This book is a gift for those who are interested in gene isolation studies from plants rich in phenolic compound.
