To cope with soil stability and erosion problems in earthquake affected Karli Sub watershed, District Hattian AJK Pakistan UNDP launched IWM, ERP in 2009-2012. The study explored the attitudes of the community regarding adoption of bioengineering techniques applied by UNDP. After analyses of the data collected from statistically selected respondents through questionnaire survey stated that bioengineering structures are not only suitable to local climate but also found effective, durable, easy to construct and economical.
