Autorenporträt
David Claeson grew up in the frozen tundra of Farmington, Minnesota, where long winters stuck inside with books beside the fireplace developed his love for reading and writing. Now working as a third-grade teacher, David has a passion for storytelling, both inside the classroom and out of it. During bouts of procrastinating writing his stories and lesson plans, he can be found in the outdoors running, bouldering, and chasing any views of nature not involving snow. "Tired Dreamers" is David's first publication. Lisa Diane Kastner is the Founder and Executive Editor of Running Wild Press. She's been a writer and editor for more than twenty years. She has her MFA in Creative Writing with concentrations in Fiction and Nonfiction from Fairfield University, her MBA from Pennsylvania State University, her undergraduate from Drexel University, and is also an alumni of Moorestown Friends Upper School. Lisa began Running Wild with the belief that we can change the world through story. Syrena Clark: I am a published author, blogger, student, and activist. I take much of my influence from my rural Maine residency and from my own development, and subsequent recovery from, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I have seen the consequences of an inaccessible healthcare system as well as the deep misunderstanding about these illnesses. I have lived through that discrimination. As the conversation surrounding psychosis increases, it is currently more important than ever to cultivate empathy, which we can only attain through education and storytelling. Samuel Bollen is a writer living in California. His fiction has appeared previously in the Nassau Weekly and is forthcoming in Grattan Street Press. His feature screenplay Roswell '97 was a finalist in the Reno-Tahoe Screenplay Contest. He is an alumnus of Princeton University.
