The author is the member of Maharashtra Forest Service since 1986. He has been involved with prestigious assignments with the Government of India and State Government of Maharashtra, as an administrator, academician, field trainer and a field manager in the field of forestry, wildlife and environmental conservation. He is Currently with WWF-India.
