Police is also not an exception for that. Therefore, it is very important to study such factors, which are directly related to male and female police constables. Hence, this study is an attempt to find out the difference between male and female police constables, in terms of quality of life, work life balance, organizational commitment and occupational stress. The main objectives of the present study were: 1) To study the quality of life among male and female police constables. 2) To know the work life balance among male and female police constables. 3) To examine the organizational commitment among male and female police constables. 4) To assess the occupational stress level of male and female police constables. 5) To find out the age wise differences (lower and upper age group) within male police constables in terms of quality of life, work-life balance, organizational commitment and occupational stress. 6) To find out the age wise differences (lower and upper age group) within female police constables in terms of quality of life, work-life balance, organizational commitment and occupational stress.
