Patrick Kilhoffer graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Economics. He and his wife started a national marketing company which they later sold and he is now semi-retired in Danvers, Illinois with his wife, Tori, and two sons, Riley and Simon, and a parrot that wanders around the house looking for him when it gets bored. Patrick still helps businesses with their marketing but spends most of his time researching, writing, riding his bicycle, distributing food to those in need and preparing for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
