Patrick W. McClane, a native Floridian, is a principal architect with Smith and McClane Architects in Richmond, Virginia. In 1998 he received an Award of Merit from the Association of University Architects for his work on the Jepson Alumni Center at the University of Richmond. Debra McClane is a private consultant in architectural history and historic preservation and a contributing author to Buildings of Virginia: Tidewater and Piedmont, a volume in the Buildings of the United States series.
