Autorenporträt
Patti Lynn Hanni is a Cherokee Indian born into a family of 14 children. She and other siblings were adopted to separate families and eventually Patti was sent to live in the Baptist Children's Home. At the age of 23, she was successful in locating all the members of her biological family and hosted a joyous reunion for all. Patti married her first husband, a Navy Corpsman, and followed him to Tokyo and eventually to Louisiana. In 1979, they divorced and Patti and her two children moved to Tom Bean, Texas. In 1988, Patti met her soul mate, Ernest (Curly) Hanni and they have been married for almost 30 years. In 2010, the two joined the Kings Trail Cowboy Church and in 2011, Patti became Team Leader of the Silver Spurs Ministry at Kings Trail, for those over the age of 50. She served in this capacity for three years and during that time, organized the church Christian Video Library. In 2014, Patti became the Administrator for Hands of Faith Ministry, and she stepped into the Team Leader role for Hands of Faith in 2018. Patti has organized a variety of Outreach Projects at Kings Trail; all of which, she says, have been God-breathed. These projects include Prayer Warrior outreach, Encouragement Cards, Hospital visitation, Nursing Home, Rehabilitation Home, Crisis Center, Homeless Shelter, Prison Pen Pals, and The Next Step (for the newly Baptized). Fall of 2015, saw a new chapter open for Patti as she began to write a series of daily devotional books which she is now compiling into a 365-day devotional. She has also begun a series, beginning with this book, The Quest for Wisdom, wherein she provides a discerning look at the messages in the books of the minor prophets as they pertain to our society today.
