Exploration, Drilling and Production of hydrocarbon reservoirs are vital and essential to the availability of fuel for power consumption in the world. The section of Production possesses the responsibility of ensuring hydrocarbon fluid is delivered from the bottom of the well to process facilities maximally and efficiently. Sometimes, the transported fluid properties change and act as a blockade to further stream movement, e.g. Paraffin Wax and Asphaltene clogs. The formation of these clogs are tied to two parameters, Temperature and Pressure. The vital property to alter is the temperature of the fluid, to ensure easy deliverability of the fluid stream. This book discussed of a proposed thermal technique that can be used to prevent the development and accumulation of asphaltenes and/or waxes in the production tubing string. The work in this book shows a computer program that was developed to test the possibility of this proposed thermal technique. The developed computer application consisted of various correlations from several topics and author works ranging from Fluid transport through pipes, PVT analysis of fluid, Commingled production to Thermodynamics.
