These are short stories or snapshots tucked snuggly inside of this little keepsake book inspired by my hometown, New Iberia, Louisiana, a small southern town that grew up along the Bayou Teche. The moments I capture and the stories I spin could take place in any small town as long as there are people, gardens, farmer's markets, theater, artists, and a full moon in the sky every 28 days. Autorenporträt
It is difficult, writing "about me". I am much more suited to write about you or what I see or how I feel; this is out of my comfort zone. I can list some things that I like to associate with, like honesty and simple moments and I love my family more than anything. I also love food without toxins and making art. I have to connect to nature and I try to avoid close minded people. My purpose in life is to be the best mother I can be to my five children and alongside of that role, try to make a worthwhile creative contribution to my small, but important "world".You can follow my musings at www.sketchesofmyday.com.
