Pamela Christian Flickinger grew up in a small rural town as a preacher's daughter. Her Christian upbringing exposed her to religious extremes concerning such topics as judgment, law and grace, and freedom in the Spirit. Her hunger to know God for herself drove her to experience the truth about God and His Word as a teenager. As she continued to grow in her relationship with her heavenly Father, she applied what she was learning after marrying and starting a family of her own. After the birth of her second child, who was later diagnosed with eczema, her pursuits of God's Word grew stronger. It was during this time, The Pocket Prayer was birthed, and the victory won. Her revelation about the power in God's Word and how to apply it as a "pocket prayer" is simple, yet effective, no matter the circumstance.
