Autorenporträt

I recognized at an early age that I wanted to be a teacher. My passion was to work with students, to encourage them and to guide them so that they would be successful. A claw-foot bath tub once stood in my classroom. My students took turns sitting in it to read, to research and to explore. Now, it is in my backyard filled with vines and colorful flowers. As I look at it, there are so many memories and I can't help wonder about those students that came into my life. Ideas for my stories come from family memories, classroom experiences and traveling. I hope that as you read my stories they will in some way touch your heart. I live in South-Central Kansas with my husband Mike. My special treasures are my son Brett and his wife Patricia, my daughter Courtney, my son Stephen and his wife Kaela and my 6 grandchildren: Nathan, Ben, Rylee, Jack, Sam and Drew.
