A variety of five membered N-heterocyclic derivatives have been reviewed. Based on brief review, the compounds have been subjected for assessment of their pharmacological activities, and it's believed that these compounds found to be the most active for their further studies. The objective of this review is to systematically evaluate the pharmacological properties of various substituted five membered N-heterocyclic compounds and collate these findings to be used as a guide for future structure-activity relationship and mode of action studies.
