Landholding size was strongly and positively influencing among the non significant factors.Ceterus paribus, per unit increase in year of education and year of experience increased the probability of a farmer being high adopter by 2.6 and 4 % respectively. For member of a group, the probability that the farmer will be a high adopter increasd by about 38 %. A marginal effect of unit change in the frequency of contact with personal localite was 0.09. The probability of being high adopter decreased by half along with involvement of the farmer in off farm occupation.
