Binary logit regression model was used to come across the factors affecting adoption of recommended technology of cauliflower production by the farmers of Kavre district, Nepal. Out of twelve independent factors studied, five factors: Education, Occupation, Contact with Personal Localite, Group membership and Experience were the most influencing factors of adoption of recommended technology. Though other factors were not strong enough to contribute significantly but indirectly influenced the adoption decision of farmers as combined effects.Occupation was found negatively associated and other factors positively associated. Landholding size was strongly and positively influencing among the non significant factors.Ceterus paribus, per unit increase in year of education and year of experience increased the probability of a farmer being high adopter by 2.6 and 4 % respectively. For member of a group, the probability that the farmer will be a high adopter increasd by about 38 %. A marginal effect of unit change in the frequency of contact with personal localite was 0.09. The probability of being high adopter decreased by half along with involvement of the farmer in off farm occupation.
