Santosh Kumar Sar obtained his Ph.D. in the area of physical-Organic chemistry from Pt Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (1995). He has carried Post Doctoral Research Fellow, in the area of Bio-Mimetic Chemistry with Prof. Sung Soo Kim, at Department of Chemical & Dynamics Engineering, Inha University, Inchon, South Korea.
