Resveratrol is a naturally occurring polyphenol of stilbene family. It is produced by various plants in response to stress, UV radiation and fungal attack. It is primarily found in peanuts, berries, grape skin and red wine. Even though it has been found to exhibit anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, and anti-oxidant properties, its solubility and bioavailability is limited.
