Married to Nathan Kapata. Holds a Doctorate in Environmental Sciences and Public Health from University of Camerino in Italy; MPH (Health Economics (UCT, South Africa) and BSc (UNZA, Zambia). Has more than 8 years expereince in malaria control in Zambia. She currently heads the Research Unit in the Ministry of Health in Zambia.
