Autorenporträt
About the Author Pasha Cook is an International Speaker and Empowerment Practitioner who empowers athletes and others to successfully navigate the sometimes turbulent waters of transition throughout the various phases of their careers. As Founder of Pasha Cook & Associates, she is a career development and branding consultant who coaches her clients on how to identify and develop their transferable skills, as well as maximize their potential to create life-long success. As a former collegiate and semi-pro basketball player, who sustained a career-ending injury, Pasha understands the challenges athletes face when trying to figure out what's next after their playing days are over. This insight ultimately propelled Pasha to combine her passion as an athlete, educator, and entrepreneur to create a firm that positively impacts and empowers individuals globally. Pasha understands the challenges that come with merging an athletic career with the demands of life outside of sport. She also recognizes the difficulties that surface while transitioning from athlete to "normal" life. This uniquely equips her to create custom training programs for her clients to assist them in developing their skill-sets in order to reach goals and to CHAMPION life. In 2002 Pasha received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Memphis. She has worked with the WNBA, NCAA and a host of youth programs and organizations. She has been featured on MSNBC and in the Houston Business Journal, Black Enterprise Magazine, and YSF Magazine. The Women CEO Project in Houston awarded Pasha Cook & Associates with the 2015 Biggest Transformation Award for its dedicated service and extraordinary growth.
