This book critically analyzes effectiveness and sustainability of educational models in mitigating impact of HIV on children in Zambia. It is based on research findings carried out in four (4) communities in Lusaka district, Zambia. The target audience of this book include policy makers, non state actors, donor agencies, academia, school authorities, parents, children as beneficiaries. The book outlines positive impact and contributions of government policy makers, non-state actors and others in the fight against HIV in Zambia and in other African countries collected. This book also highlights policy, administrative and physical challenges faced by respective players in their pursuit to formulate,design and deliver quality educational requites to respond to HIV and other social factors. It also highlights some good practices being used or that can be explored by key players for effective and coordinated resource mobilisation and policy synergies among stakeholders. The book ends with recommendations that may provide a more coordinated, effective, participatory, ownership and sustainable response to reduce spread and impact of HIV on children's education
