Autorenporträt
Pearline Wells-Johns is a retired Purchasing Specialist for the United States Postal Service. She is a lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), a lifetime certified Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.), an active parishioner of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, and an aspiring event and wedding planner. Her compassion for the homeless led to an opportunity to work with the House of Ruth, a nonprofit that tries to keep families from becoming homeless. It was there she experienced a pivotal moment that changed her to live a life of gratitude. Ms. Wells-Johns has been writing poetry for 30 years. She has received numerous awards and accolades for her poetry. Recently, she received the Poet's Award for her poem "Sunshine". When she is not writing, she enjoys sewing, crafting, learning Spanish and sign language.
