Plasma is a collection of charged and neutral particles which shows some collective behaviour. The long range coulomb forces enable the charged particles in a plasma to interact with each other simultaneously. This effect gives rise to the collective behaviour of the plasma. The long-range electromagnetic forces are much larger than the forces arising due to the collisions between the neutral particles.
