Dr. Phyllis Browning is a nurse entrepreneur specializing in geriatric care, presently working as a regional nurse consultant. During her 17-year career in the health care sector, Dr. Browning has excelled in a wide range of roles, progressing from registered nurse to Director of Nursing and Quality Assurance Consultant in the areas of hospital and long-term care. As a part of her doctoral dissertation, she studied factors affecting nurse anti-bullying training outcomes. Her extensive experience in clinical settings and passion for her profession prompted Dr. Browning to focus her research on workplace health and safety, nurse wellness and ensuring optimum patient care.
