"They do what they want to do when they're on that level. It takes God to catch them. It was one man who decided to do all of these things to me... that's how it all started. I fought for my life; along with the people connected to me. I had no other choice because they were scared I was going to bring up everything." What do you do when your back is against the wall and it looks like there is no help in sight? Who do you turn to when your own legal team is against you? How do you handle it when you are falsely accused and facing possible prison time? Former mayor, Priscilla Oates, was dedicated to rebuilding the city she loved dearly, but when she is falsely accused of misusing funds intended for city growth and development, her legacy and reputation are destroyed in an instant. She shares her journey from the mayor's office to the courtroom and how her attorneys were able to uncover some shocking discoveries that turned the case against her upside down. With her name and position on the line, 17 Felony Charges: Not Guilty exposes the inner workings of an entire ring of corruption designed to bring her down - and the fight it took to clear her name. More than just a defense of her character and her position, Priscilla's memoir is a testament to her never-ending trust in God, her faith that He would see her through this nightmare, and what happens when truth triumphs over lies and deception.
