Did you ever sit back and wonder, "Does anybody else stress like they are about to die all the time?" On the other side of that same coin, do you ever ask yourself, with intended hope, "Is today going to be the day I finally die?" If you answered yes to the first, I would say it was likely you had anxiety. Yes, to the second? Depression. But none of us are quite as simple as that. Many might think to themselves, "Man, it is terrifying to be in this store right now, anybody could be a murderer" but the minute they are out of the store, see a big truck driving by and think "yeah, if it just…mehr

Many might think to themselves, "Man, it is terrifying to be in this store right now, anybody could be a murderer" but the minute they are out of the store, see a big truck driving by and think "yeah, if it just turned RIGHT NOW, it would be perfect." Aint no raisins in my potato salad how you cope, but its important that you try to do just that, COPE. You only live once, but the same can go for dying. Take a moment in my margins, doodle, write your own poetry, RIP OUT THE PAGES, if that's what it takes to help you cope, but don't give up on or doubt yourself. You've got a lot of work ahead of you, and all the potential and capability to reach your goals, find a normal, and heal. I am proud of you, and I hope this poetry HELPS.

Autorenporträt
Married to the partner of their dreams, R. B. Lane lives in the United State of Distress with their two children, a son and a daughter. R. B. Lane grew up with undiagnosed autism which led to a lot of bullying in their developing years, as well as some childhood medical traumas resulting from seizures and eventual medication overdose. In 2014, R. B. Lane suffered an assault from a friend, a year after giving birth to her son and becoming a teen mom. They developed PTSD as a result, but that would remain undiagnosed until much later. In 2020, R. B. Lane began experiencing symptoms that would be normal for pregnancy, but they were not pregnant. This progressed into excruciating pain, and R. B. Lane began to lose weight and mobility. Over the course of nearly 2 years, R. B. Lane would see many doctors, but to little avail. By November 2021, R. B. Lane was unable to walk for more than very short spans, was unable to keep any food in their system, had reached the weight they were at in their pre-teens, and doctors continued to monitor the very painful cysts and insist that it was mostly in their head. Shortly after this, R. B. Lane found out they were pregnant. The happy couple were very excited at first, but R. B. Lane quickly realized that their body was no longer strong enough to handle the pregnancy, and they had two children to care for. So, through catastrophic grief, they had to say goodbye, and try to find a way to heal. R. B. Lane still struggles with the pain to this day, though less often, fortunately. These poems helped them get through the lowest times in their life, and they hope they can be passed onto others, and offer them the same comfort. TLDR: I have been through some shit, here's the shit that helped me with that shit.
