Autorenporträt
Reading to my young children was a daily event to which I always looked forward. But, as is the case with all parents, the years pass by quickly. Just as I had perfected my rendition of "baa, moo, oink, quack," we left the barnyard and were on to other adventures. We were enchanted by picture books of all kinds: whimsical and educational, biographical and magical, history and fantasy, with of plenty good guys and bad guys throughout! It was a time for bonding, imparting knowledge, and allowing our imaginations to fly. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, myself or my kids. R.J. Brandell
