Not until I understood that my daughter's presence was necessary did the concept of FATE become clear to me as well as what had been meant for me to accomplish In Vietnam.

A Vietnam Veterans story; there are so many! I Hope mine will awaken readers to the humanity of the Nam warrior, a time when humanity itself could easily be of the first casualties. A great number of things tug at your soul during combat. Guided by the moral compass given me by my Parents, I was able to leave Nam believing I did my very best for whom I was responsible and felt I made a positive difference. I was among the VERY fortunate; Later in life I would learn why. I wish therefore to dedicate this book to my amazing daughters, Alana and Dana. I OWE THEM MY LIFE
