Dr. Bagheri is a dual doctor graduate of Harvard University (DMD, cum laude, class marshal) and Emory University (MD). He is an internationally recognized surgeon and leader in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS). His current and past positions include Division Chief of Northside Hospital in Atlanta, university faculty appointments, Editorial Board member of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Consultant to American Dental Association Council on Scientific Affairs. Dr Bagheri is an author and educator with over 100 publications including 10 textbooks, over 80 book chapters and 55 peer reviewed citations. His highly recognized textbook Clinical Review of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Edition 3) is used worldwide by surgeons and residents in training. He has been featured on TV and radio, with dozens of lectureships and seminars. A large portion of his patients are referred by other specialists including surgeons as well as dental and medical practitioners. His practice serves the metropolitan Atlanta area, although he frequently treats patients from across the United States and overseas.
