"My friend hearted the photo". This statement used the word 'hearted' to function as a verb, but the word itself belongs to the noun. Plenty of teachers discourage the heavy use of verbification especially in academic and formal writings in schools wherein the students are expected to know the different functions of parts of speech. This research investigated how verbification had been created by the students. Since there are limited researches about verbification, this paper also studied the possible impact of this feature of the language on the future researchers about language evolvement and school curriculum.
