I started my career as an illustrator in Vancouver after completing a BA and attending the Vancouver School of Art, where I studied photography and graphic design.I have worked in NYC since 1985 as a Graphic Designer & Creative Director specializing in branding, brochures and digital design. My design expertise includes projects such as logos and corporate identity, brand style guides, corporate brochures, website design, press kits, newsletters, sales presentations & marketing print collateral.Recently I rediscovered my passion for illustration and started to paint in watercolors and pen and ink, capturing the scenes around my neighborhood-Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.In 2020 I wrote and illustrated my first children's book "Max the City Dog: ¿A Day at the Beach" -it is a product of this new exploration into watercolors and storytelling. In 2021, I completed the second book in the series: "Max the City Dog: My Undercover Zoo Adventure". The third book in the series "Max the City Dog: The Blue Bottle Mystery was published in 2023.
