Autorenporträt

Robert J. Heston retired after thirty-one years in the military. He served three combat tours in Vietnam and participated in numerous operations after that, culminating with Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm against Iraq and Operations Deny Flight and Deliberate Force in Bosnia. As a Department of Defense contractor, he served an additional twenty-three years as a senior adviser to combatant commanders in Afghanistan and Iraq. Today, when not updating this reference book, he manages a small beekeeping operation in Northern Colorado.
