After a brief analisys about emergency, how it occurs, what are its phases, which entities are involved and how emeregency is managed by first responder and rescue, the information management problem was studied starting from involved organizations by focusing on typology and usability of information. The data flow was analized trying to simplify the information retrieval based on emergency workers role played. Such studies also led to the realization of an integrated work environment, composed of various tools able to help personnel during all the phases. This tool allows a better information management, enhancing its usability and diffusion. It also allows to improve the decision making process because each typology of user always knows what is happening.
