Throughout Robyn's childhood and early adolescence, poems and clever rhymes were a playful way to connect with her sister and friends to make them laugh. Today, writing is a big part of her professional life, although with less of a creative focus. It wasn't until her son was born that poems became a regular part of her life again, often singing silly rhymes to provide comfort and make him smile. Robyn's first book, Dreamland, was originally a verse that turned into a song that was adapted into a storybook.
