A tireless traveler and culinary eclectic, Rod Rotondi has used his unique experience and perspective to translate world cuisine into delicious and affordable raw, organic, and vegan offerings. Rod's dream was to create an inclusive eatery so affordable and delicious that people would eat there daily and make a positive change to their lives. Thus was born Leaf Organics, one of the first certified-organic restaurants. He owned restaurants in Culver City (from 2004 to 2010) and Sherman Oaks (from 2005 to 2010), both of which received rave reviews. His latest restaurant, Leaf Organics in Los Angeles, serves vegan and raw meals. Rod's catering business offers an array of raw, vegan, and certified-organic entrées, wraps, salads, dips, crackers, and desserts. Rod, who lives in Los Angeles, takes part in many charity events throughout the Los Angeles area hosted by such organizations as Save the Bay, the American Heart Association, and the Breast Cancer Fund. He also speaks at schools and colleges and has catered the Grammy Awards and other entertainment-industry functions. Rod has created Raw Food for Real People - The DVD, teaches "uncooking" classes, and is working on a television series.
