Autorenporträt
Rodger J. Bille was born in the sawmill town of McCleary, Washington in 1935 and raised near Tacoma, Washington. He learned survival skills at an early age, from his Scout Leader parents, boating the waters of Puget Sound, hiking the Olympic Mountains and exploring the western United States. He attended the school of journalism at the U of W in Seattle for a short time, but was married at 19 and a father at 21, which put his dreams of acting and writing on hold for many years. After 50 years of racing everything from go-karts, sports cars to all types of boats and motorcycles, he is content to return to writing, with just an occasional vintage moto-cross race or off road adventure thrown in to liven up his routine. Rodger is an active High Priest in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a grandfather and great-grandfather many times over and lives with his wife Dolores near Utah Lake. His first novel, "A Few of the Chosen, Survivors of Terrorism," was published by Trafford Publishing in 2003 and used the same well researched locations as does his current novel, Night Runners, published by Trafford Publishing in 2006. Drawing on his vast real life adventure experiences from Canada to New Zealand, Rodger plans to publish more of his accumulation of stories in the near future, with the hope of sharing life's wonderful joys with a wider audience.
